The Red Paddle Co Voyager. Taking you places.
The 13’2 Voyager+ is stable with loads of glide. It’s a speedy touring board, with the added advantage of packing into the brilliant Red Paddle Co rucksack for either the trip home or the travel to your paddling destination.
At 150mm thick, with a wide tail, the Voyager feels solid and will easily carry a load. It has two cargo net or tie down fixing points for bringing along anything from camping equipment, fishing gear or lunch, and two extra handles which make carrying it a doddle, especially using the comfort grips from the rucksack. It has a US fin box, as well as two rear runner fins and a nose fin ensuring great tracking, even when conditions are tricky.
What SUP North thinks
We’ve used the Voyager (then called Explorer) for island hopping in the Firth of Forth, paddling 5 miles off shore for a closer look at the Lennox oil platform , in races on the Thames and the River Dart and on a down-winder. Our new paddlers find it incredibly stable, giving them confidence, while more experienced SUPers enjoy the stability to move around on the board – it tail turns on a pivot! It’s great fun in our local, messy waves, giving a taste of SUP surfing. It’s also our board of choice when Alan’s two kids, Sofie and Dylan, are both along for the ride!
