Rhosneigr town beach – Anglesey
Mile long uncrowded beach break, perfect for SUP surfing, the prone surfer crowd usually head to Broad beach just up the road. Some free parking and a short walk from shops and toilets.
Scarborough North Bay – East Yorkshire
Beach break that can get crowded, some rock reef to watch out for opposite the restaurant in the middle of the bay. Cayton Bay is an alternative spot a few miles up the coast. Many over-night van park up spots, offshore winds are pretty regular here and are sheltered somewhat by the cliffs.
Saunton Sands – North Devon
Huge beach with long, slow walls, great for SUP. Sheltered from NW-N winds. Lots of paid parking behind the dunes, cafe, toilets and shower close by.
Kimmeridge Bay Ledges – Dorset
Reef break of relatively flat rock, long boarders and SUPs tend to spread out to the left where it’s usually not too busy. Riding in the bay is another option when the surf feels to big on the ledges. Toll road fee includes parking, toilet and cold shower available.
