WHAT SUP NORTH THINKS
Axis foils make us fly. While Alan embraced kitefoil, surf foiling and wing foiling early, choosing Axis for range, quality and philosophy of design, Lucy joined the foil party later and with cynicism about how difficult and risky it would be. Using the 102 foil she was able to learn to foil using a kite wing (after plenty of isup practice). The Axis foil supports progress with great lift and stability, and has now been used by three more SUP Northers to get flying.
Axis designer, Adrian Roper, says that foils should be fun, easy to ride and shouldn’t take too long to learn, rather than difficult and dangerous. We’re into that philosophy because it works!
